Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and his wife, fashion designer Natasha Dalal, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The joyous news was confirmed by Varun’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan, who shared the announcement with the media gathered outside Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Natasha had gone into labor. “According to the doctor, Natasha is scheduled to give birth this week. Earlier today, in the morning, she began having strong labor pain, following which she was rushed to the hospital. Varun is making sure that he’s around his wife during this time and he has pushed all professional commitments to a later date,” said a source close to the family.
Varun Dhawan was spotted at the hospital, dressed casually in a t-shirt and blue track pants, carrying a small bag as he left the premises. His father, David Dhawan, was seen with him, and when the paparazzi asked if Varun and Natasha had welcomed a baby girl, David nodded affirmatively and thanked the cameramen for their best wishes. “Yes, it’s a baby girl,” he said, confirming the news.
