How does DUSIB help People?
Every night from 10 pm to 4 am, DUSIB teams actively pick up individuals without shelter, residing on roads or in open spaces. Each rescue unit comprises a vehicle, a driver, and two attendants, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the task.
A control center has been established at Punarwas Bhawan, I.P. Estate, featuring a dedicated team to oversee and support the rescue operations.
The shelters have facilities like drinking water, toilets, lockers for belongings, complaint boxes, first aid kits and televisions. All of these facilities are free.
Each shelter home has a caretaker, who is available for eight hours every day, and a female security guard for the safety of women. Now women can reside here safely at night without any fear.
