In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused him of diverting public attention from pressing issues facing the nation. Rahul Gandhi’s Attack on PM Modi
Rahul criticized PM Modi’s campaign strategy, stating, “Modi tries to divert your attention. Sometimes he talks about China and Pakistan, and sometimes he will make you beat plates and ask you to switch on the torchlight of your mobile phones.” This accusation comes amidst PM Modi’s relentless campaign against the Congress, targeting the party over allegations of “redistribution of wealth” and “implementing inheritance tax.”
During his address, Rahul Gandhi highlighted the core issues facing India, including poverty, unemployment, and price rise, which he claimed PM Modi has neglected. He alleged that PM Modi has favored billionaires, asserting, “Modi has only snatched money from poor people. He has made some billionaires. Just one percent people are controlling 40 percent of the wealth of the nation.”
Promising to address these inequalities, Rahul pledged, “The wealth Modi has given to those billionaires, the same money we are going to give to the poor people of the country.” Additionally, he vowed to scrap the ‘Agniveer’ scheme in the armed forces, which he labelled as an insult to the Indian Army and soldiers.

He emphasized the significance of the ongoing elections, stating, “This election is not an ordinary election because, for the first time in the history of India, a party and an individual are trying to abolish the constitution and democracy.”
In response to PM Modi’s accusations against the Congress, Rahul Gandhi dismissed them as attempts to divert attention. He mocked PM Modi, stating, “Modi tries to divert your attention. Sometimes he talks about China and Pakistan, and sometimes he will make you beat plates and ask you to switch on the torchlight of your mobile phones.”
Highlighting PM Modi’s alleged neglect of key issues, Rahul reiterated his commitment to addressing poverty, unemployment, and price rise. He accused PM Modi of favoring billionaires at the expense of the poor and marginalized sections of society. Rahul promised to redistribute wealth to benefit the needy if Congress comes to power.
Rahul Gandhi’s explosive speeches during the election rally in Karnataka indicate the strong political opposition between the Congress and BJP. While the elections for Lok Sabha are progressing, the fight for power has reached a high pitch, as both the parties do their utmost to win the support of the voters.
