Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in Delhi rally on Tuesday stated that if the BJP and its allies secure 400 seats in the current elections, they will construct temples at the Krishna Janmabhoomi site in Mathura and the Gyanavi Mosque area in Varanasi.
“Would you like to know why Sachin Tendulkar scored triple and double hundreds? Built Ram Mandir when we had 300 seats. Now, Mathura will witness the realization of Krishna Janmabhoomi if we secure 400 seats. We plan to erect a magnificent temple honoring Baba Vishwanath in lieu of the Gyana Vapi Masjid in Varanasi.”
During a public forum in New Delhi on Tuesday, the chief minister of Assam stated, “We will also be able to clean up the mess spread by the Mughals.”
On Tuesday, Biswa was in the nation’s capital doing a campaign stop for BJP candidate Harsh Malhotra in East Delhi.
On UCC implementation
He further said that as declared in BJP manifesto, this next term will be the term with biggest deliveries to the people of India. Another remarkable manifesto promise highlighted by Himanta Biswa was implementation of Uniform civil code (UCC) across country. Implementing UCC will mean promoting equality and national unity.
On Integration of PoK
Launching attack on opposition, CM said that the BJP was told by Congress that Kashmir is in India as well as in Pakistan when it was in power. He also said that for the last few days, people have been holding Indian flags in POK, but there was no discussion about it in Parliament that Pok belongs to India. he added that BJP is amended on integration of POK in India in next term. this was in support of what Dr.Jayashankar said on Monday. he said that India will end illegal occupation of POK.
Attack on AAP
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has called for Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s intervention in the alleged assault incident involving AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwan and Delhi Chief Minister’s secretary Baibhav Kumar at the CM’s residence. Sarma urged the Vice-President, who also serves as the chairman of the Rajya Sabha, to take Suo motu cognizance of the incident, stating, “Yesterday, he also thrashed a Rajya Sabha MP. I think the vice president, who is also the chairman of the Rajya Sabha, should take Suo motu cognizance of how a chief minister can beat up a Rajya Sabha MP,” as reported by PTI
