Russians’ ‘Sunny‘ Republic Day Wishes
The Russian Embassy in India adopted a very affable and amusing way to wish India a Happy Republic Day on 26th January 2024.
The Embassy shared a memorable video from their official handle on X showing the staff rejoicing and reveling to the song ‘Main Nikla O Gaddi Leke’ from the legendary hit film – ‘Gadar’.
The delightful clip shows the staff and children gathered in a courtyard, having a ‘Sunny’ morning. They donned the traditional outfits and shook a leg to the iconic bollywood hit while flaunting some classic Russian hooksteps. The professional artists, wearing their white and red Russian garbs, too joined the circle to enhance the jamboree and waved the Indian Tri-color!
‘From Russia, with love’
The video, coming with the caption ‘Happy Republic Day, #India! From Russia with love’, makes for a very sweet and special gesture to wish India on its 75th Republic Day!
Their endearing dance has a cute culmination as all of them uniting and displaying placards which read ‘Happy Republic Day’.
This unique expression of love from Russia extends more than just the video and speaks volumes of the congenial ties India and Russia share.
Indian Republic turns 75: Smashing Celebrations
The morning of the 26th Jan 2024 began smashingly with The Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi. The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, honoring as the chief guests along with esteemed guests and ministers from across the country were in attendance.

As India bustles with a smashing celebrations of the Diamond Republic Day, well-wishes and love from across the world poured into her lap.

Denis Alipov, the Russian Ambassador warmly wished India along with adding ‘Wishing our Indian friends prosperity, well-being and very bright #AmritKaal! Long live #Bharat! Long live Rusi-Bharatiya Dosti!’
The US Secretary, Anton Blinken also congratulated India in his post and reinforced India’s victory as the world’s largest democracy. The State Department also wished India by calling it ‘a key strategic partner’ of the United States.
Moreover, wishes from Ex-Maldives Prez Ibrahim Mohamed Solih saying “May the unbreakable bonds of friendship that have long existed between Maldives and India go from strength to strength,” amid the brewing tensions between the two nations stands apart!
The Down-Under Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also congratulated India and remarked at the growing affinity between India and Australia and saying ‘The bonds between our two nations are lifelong with a bright future’
