Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati on Monday requested Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government to shift her party office to a safe place due to threats from SP (Samajwadi Party) and protect and prevent the occurrence of any untoward incident that” can happen there at any time.”
War of words between Mayawati and Akhilesh
Ahead of the 2024 general election, a fresh war of words has begun in UP between the Samjawadi and Bahujan Samajwadi Party, Mayawati has levelled very serious charge on SP as she targeted the Samajwadi party, calling it an “anti-Dalit” party. She alleged Akhilesh for keeping BSP out of any alliance talks with the opposition party. 
She had also alleged that during Akhilesh’s tenure, a flyover was constructed close to the BSP office which according to her was a safety hazard, that’s why she has been forced to meet at her residence since then.
In response to the flyover remark, Akhilesh Yadav said that she could demolish the flyover by the BJP-led Centre, with which she is” hand in glove” right now.
Dispensation’s response to Mayawati’s response
UP’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prashad Maurya said on Maywati’s request, “Up government is committed to her safety and will look into the matter.”
On Keshav Prashad’s remark, SP reacted that the BJP has supported those who had said derogatory words against Mayawati. 
After these allegations by Mayawati’s side, every party reacted.
BJP leader Rakesh Tripathi said, “Now in the Yogi Government, no Samajwadi Gunda can engage in gundagardi.”
A Congress leader said that in the Yogi government when an ex-chief Minister of state does not feel safe, one should think about the common man. Mayawati’s statement is a slap on Yogi’s good governance, there is Jungleraaj in UP”.
Is this Mayawati’s New Move Ahead of 2024 polls?
The war of words between SP and BSP is not new, and now serious allegations by Mayawati on SP that Samajwadi goons can harm her party, somehow confirm the rumors that Mayawati is joining hands with BJP in the 2024 election.
Earlier BSP confirms that they are not with INDIA alliance, they are fighting alone.
Akhilesh Yadav also commented earlier that who will take guarantee of Mayawati if she joins the alliance then she will continue with the alliance after the elections.
IF Mayawati joins the BJP or fights alone, it is a matter for the future. However, the serious allegations made by her against Akhilesh Yadav have become a hot topic in politics for sure.
