Kate Middleton, the Princes of Wales has been hospitalised for the next ten to fourteen days after a planned abdominal surgery, Kensington palace announced on Wednesday, January 17.
The palace announced that Princess Kate was admitted to The London Clinic on Tuesday, January 16, for a planned abdominal surgery and the surgery was successfully completed. But the palace didn’t reveal the type of surgery Kate underwent.
Kate hospitalised for recovery
After this surgery Kate remains hospitalised for ten to fourteen days to recover. Because of this hospitalisation Kate is unlikely to return to her public engagements until the end of Easter. The princess apologised to all those concerned for the postponement of her engagement.
Princess wish keep it private
Kensington palace also announced that Kate wishes to keep her medical information private and she hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. So the palace will update only if any new significant information to share regarding the medical condition of the princess.
Kate celebrated her 42nd birthday on January 9. The last public appearance of Princess Kate was on Christmas day along with her family members in their traditional Christmas morning services at Sandringham, the royal family’s estate in England.
