“Strong Girl Bong-soon” is a South Korean television series that follows the life of Do Bong-soon, a young woman born with superhuman strength. Despite her physical abilities, she aspires to create video games.
The series combines elements of romance, comedy, and crime as Bong-soon becomes a bodyguard for a CEO with a stalker problem. The show explores themes of strength, vulnerability, and the dynamics of unconventional relationships.
As for ‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ is about Gang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) who gets lost as a child in Mongolia and returns to Korea to find her super-powered mother. She gets her name from the district ‘Gangnam’ in South Korea.
As she comes to Korea, together with mother Hwang Geum-joo (Kim Jung-eun) and her grandmother, Gil Joong-gan (Kim Hae-sook), the girl gang is set to take on the drug nexus in the region along with detective Gang Hee-sik (Ong Seong-wu). Byeon Woo-seok turns a white collared drug dealer in this world. The world is predictable and known, but it is the treatment that really sets a different tone for ‘Strong Girl Nam Soon’. That’s how her new embarking and sparkling journey begins.
