Nick’s ‘Tu Maan Meri Jaan’ stuns audience
Lollapalooza 2024, a rocking musical fest featuring artists from far and wide as well as home-bred singers wrapped up a dazzling day 1 as The Jonas Brothers delivered a hit concert at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai on Saturday, 27th January 2024.
‘The National Jiju’ along with his brothers – Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas set the stage ablaze and held the audience captivated and cheering with their riveting numbers.
The highlight of the 2 day-event was Nick Jonas crooning ‘Tu Maan Meri Jaan’, teaming up with the original singer of the song – King.
Jonas, along with rapper and singer King, performed their rendition of “Maan Meri Jaan x Afterlife.” which made the crowd go berserk as they too joined into the song along with the artists.
Jonas Brothers’ Dazzling Debut
The Jonas Brothers were very warmly and welcomingly received by the Indian audience when they arrived in Mumbai for the 2 day music-extravaganza. Exhilarated public were all chanting ‘jiju..jiju’ as Nick sang on the stage. He reciprocated the affection back by saying ‘i love you all so much’
It was a wild crowd at the Racecourse as The Jonas Brothers made the day unforgettable. The singers stole hearts as well as the limelight of the event as they gave their debut concert in India. The brothers were overwhelmed with the love and endearment they received from the crowd as their excitement clearly showcased on their faces.
Fans Go wild: ‘can’t have enough’
The frenzy entended beyond the arena and the Jonas fans flooded the social media with their excited messages and love. It was the Jonas Brothers debut concert in front of an Indian audience and Nick jestfully commented that his wedding’s ‘sangeet’ function doesn’t count!
Nick, dressed casually in a cotton shirt designed in florals paired with a beige pant, has a strong affinity to his wife- Priyanka Chopra’s native country as he says ‘We, as a family, have a deep, deep connection with the country’.
He expressed his gratitude to the crowd for warmly hosting them in India and assured them that ‘we will make the most exciting night ever.’
Priyanka with daughter Malti Marie is currently in Los Angeles, tending to her other commitments.
Ensuing their performance, they headed to Natasha Poonawalla’s party where a number of other icons made an entry. Amongst them were – Malaika Arora. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, all dressed chicly.
Lollapalooza India 2024: A Melodious Mega-event
Lollapalooza India 2024 is a delightful fest for all the musical aficionados around. It will be a magnet for some of the greatest singers and bands across the globe including – The popular American rock band – OneRepublic, English rock band Keane, Ari Staprans Leff aka Lauv, British electronic music project Jungle, Rock duo Royal Blood and hip-hop rapper JPEGMAFIA.
Other performers include Italian electronic dance music artist Meduza, French DJ Malaa, Caribou, K-pop band The Rose, Eric Nam, Fatoumata Diawara and DJ Kenny Beats
Along with international idols, Anoushka Shankar, national bands like The Raghu Dixit Project and When Chai Met Toast, The Karan Kanchan Experience, Parvaaz, Prabh Deep, Dualist Inquiry, Komorebi, Parekh & Singh, Skrat, Kamakshi Khanna, JBABE, Chrms, Dewdrops, Shashwat Bulusu, Jatayu, Monophonik, Sublime Sound, Stalvart John, Long Distances and Megan Murray will also grace the stage
