The daughter of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has announced via Instagram that she is divorcing her husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.
The announcement comes just over two months after their first child was born and made public.
Dear Husband
The princess from Dubai opened with “Dear Husband.” We are divorcing each other because you are busy with other people. I am divorcing you now, again, and forever. Be careful. The woman you divorced.”
Marriage and Parenthood
Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum and Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum were married in May of last year, and their daughter was born a year later.
Being a mother had brought Sheikha Mahra joy and she had called it her “most memorable experience.” She expressed her gratitude to the hospital personnel and medical team for their careful care throughout the delivery. Sheikh Mana was also seen in photos cradling their baby daughter.
Sheikh Mana, the spouse of Sheikha Mahra, was spotted standing by her side when their child was being delivered, resting on her chest.
Signs of Trouble
Sheikh Mana was seen holding their daughter in pictures that Sheikha Mahra uploaded but have since removed. In February, the couple held a gender reveal party as part of their prior celebration.
But a few weeks prior, the princess from Dubai posted a mysterious picture of herself holding her child on Instagram with the caption, “Just the two of us.” Was there a sign of problems building under the surface, perhaps?
