Pakistan election’s vote counting is still going on and no clear majority is found as of now. So, Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) party and Pakistan People’s Party have tries to form a coalition government in Pakistan.

Elections for the Pakistan National Assembly and Legislative Assembly were held in Pakistan on the 8th February. The polling started at 8 am on the day and ended at 5 pm. After that, the counting of votes started immediately. The counting of votes has not yet been completed as the election was held through ballot papers.
As of 12 noon today, of the total 266 seats in the Pakistan National Assembly, Imran Khan’s supporters have won 91 seats. Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League won 71 seats and former president Asif Ali Zardari’s Pakistan People’s Party won 53 seats.
No cear Majority
No one got a clear majority, but independent candidates loyal to jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan showed a countable win. In this situation, the Pakistan Muslim League and the Pakistan People Party have agreed to form a coalition government in the Punjab provinces and at the center.
On the instructions of Nawaz Sharif, former Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif met Pakistan Peoples Party leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto. The meeting took place at the residence of Punjab Chief Minister’s caretaker Mushin Naqvi’s house. During this meeting, it has been reported that Shebaz Sharif conveyed the message of Nawaz Sharif to the Pakistan People’s Party leaders and they accepted it. It is said that it has been decided to form a coalition government and the leaders of both parties can discuss and decide on seat sharings.
Even though Nawz Shari’s party get more seats as a single party, former prime minister Imran Khan backed independent candidates wins the most seats overall. However no one gets a single majority to form a government.
