Congress president Malikarjuna Kharge, party press Secretary general Jayaram Ramesh, Congress organization general secretary K.C. Venugopal are the part of this press conference.

Moto

The Congress President claims that the yatra’s motto is to create a talk about the social, economical, political and fundamental issues of the country. Also Congress wants to talk directly to the people about the dictatorship of BJP in the parliament especially the suspension of 146 MPs which has never happened before in Indian history.

Bharat Jodo yatra

This is the second phase of Bharat Jodo yatra which was completed by Rahul Gandhi in Jan 2023. It started on 7 September 2022 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu and ended in Kashmir on 30 January 2023 and it crosses nearly 12 states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telungana, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Delhi and Punjab. It covers more than 3200 Km.

The congress people believed that the victory of Congress in Karnataka state election 2023, is the reflection of this Bharat Jodo yatra’s success.  So they eagerly look forward to this second phase.
