The United Nations migration agency has released a statement in which it said that about 38 migrants are dead and 22 others have been rescued from a shipwreck off Djibouti Coast in the gulf of Aden on a popular route to Yemen for migration and to migrate out of Yemen, This route of course is one of the most popular way to migrate out of Africa for Horn of Africa Nations. .
Rescue teams searched for six other people who were previously been thought to be on board the vessel, the International Organization for Migration released in a statement on Tuesday.
Djibouti is the main transit country for migrants trying to reach Gulf nations from Horn of Africa nations such as Ethiopia and Somalia in search of work and to migrate into other wealthy Gulf nations like USA, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Tens of thousands use the route every year.
Why this route for Migrants?
